SALINAS, PUERTO RICO - Former Olympians Victor Bisbal and Carlos Negron scored big knockouts in their co-headline bouts as part of the series “A Puño Limpio" - which took place at the Angel “Cholo” Espada Coliseum in Salinas, Puerto Rico in a PR Best Boxing Promotions (PRBBP) presentation in association with Top Rank.
In the main event, hometown favorite Bisbal (20-1, 14 KOs), a former 2004 Olympian, stopped Robert Daniels (49-10-1, 41 KOs) at 1:10 of the third round. Daniels went down once in the third.
In the co-feature, 2008 Olympian Negron (14-1, 10 KOs) made his first appearance after suffering his first career defeat, as he stopped Francisco Mireles (13-7, 3 KOs) in the first round. Mireles went down twice and the second time he was unable to beat the count.
