Elias Nassar, manager of undisputed super flyweight champion Vic Darchinyan, says negotiations are now underway for Darchinyan to move up to bantamweight and fight Panama's WBA champion Anselmo Moreno (24-1-1 8KOs) or IBF champ Joseph Agbeko (26-1, 22KOs).

Nassar held off on pursuing both fights and was waiting for ten stitches to come out Darchinyan's right eyebrow, which was suffered during the stoppage of Jorge Arce from a few weeks ago.

"I held off because I just wanted to make sure Vic's cut had healed properly, I didn't want to start negotiations and jeopardize his career by putting him into a fight early,'' Nassar said to The Daily Telegraph. "The cut has healed properly and I started negotiations this week.''

He also said there is a third option of fighting the winner of the March 28 bout between Fernando Montiel and Diego Silva, who face off for the interim WBO bantamweight title.
