WBA/IBF/WBC super flyweight champ Vic Darchinyan is ready inflict some serious damage when he meets Jorge Arce on February 7 in California. He doesn't think any of the top super flyweights will fight him after the beating he gives to Arce. Taking that into consideration, he will move up a division to bantamweight, if needed.
"I became undisputed world champion in just three months but now I'm putting all my titles on the line. After this fight, I don't think anyone is going to fight me because they are going to see what I am going to do with Arce. I'm not going to wait for them, I'm going to move up to bantamweight," Darchinyan told The Daily Telegraph.
Darchinyan doesn't think much of Arce and often mocks the appearance and style of the Mexican fighter. He plans to punish Arce for some of his pre-fight comments.
"He sucks a lollipop and wears a little cowboy hat. He talks too much. I talk too but I say I'm going to knock out my opponents and I deliver. He's a big puncher but I am smart. I will outsmart him, knock him out and then go to his corner and thank him for the challenge," Darchinyan said.
