It's pretty evident that Felix Verdejo is poised to become the next Puerto Rican superstar. Further evidence that points to that is that on Saturday night as the faces Marco Antonio Lopez from the Coliseo Mario 'Quijote' Morales, in Guaynabo, that he will be playing to right around 6,000 patrons as the headliner on 'Solo Boxeo' on UniMas.

Which is basically a sell-out.

According to Carl Moretti, the VP of Boxing Operations for Top Rank told Boxingscene.com on Friday afternoon,"The pre-sale, the ringside, the red carpet, was all sold-out weeks ago when the fight was announced. I believe as of yesterday there was a hundred seats left in the box-office so they'll clearly be gone - if they're not gone already."

If he comes out victorious, Verdejo is slated to make a quick turnaround to June 13th at the Theater of Madison Square Garden versus Ivan Najera, in what will be his HBO debut. But not only does he have to win, he has to come out of this fight relatively clean.

"Whatever the ending is you want it to be clean,"said Moretti, who's on the island for this promotion."Regardless of what's down the line or not you always look for some type of definitive finish or victory, so hopefully that's what happens tomorrow."

Verdejo, who represented Puerto Rico in the 2012 Olympics, has a record of 16-0(12 KO's) and is just 21 years old.
