One of the trainers of Mexican Hector Velazquez says his fight with Filipino ring idol Manny Pacquiao can “go either way, like a coin tossed in the air.”

In an interview with Viva Sports/Manila Standard Today, Javier  Jimenez compared the September 10 showdown between Pacquiao and Velazquez to a chess game and predicted that “whoever makes the first mistake is gonna get hurt.

However, Jimenez said he thought the fight would go twelve rounds because both Pacquiao and Velazquez had trained hard and were fighters who would “go down and get up.”

The hard-hitting Mexican’s trainer paid tribute to Pacquiao as “a great fighter. Unbelievable. He is like a Mexican. Real fighters in wars. He is one of them. Pacquiao is a respectful person. A great man. Other fighters are runners and quitters. Pacquiao is a real boxer.”
