Only in boxing the saying goes and here's another one: Verol Vekiloglu was on his way from the hotel to the venue tonight in Cuxhaven but got into some kind of trouble along the way and was cut on the forehead and was forced to pull out of his ten rounder against Karo Murat. Murat vs. Vekiloglu was one of the main bouts for the show.
As it was, Leo Tchoula, who was on hand to fight Sven Fornling in a six-rounder on the
undercard - got the chance to fight Murat and took it. He was out of his league though and stopped in four.
As for Fornling (4-0) he got a fight against Alexandros Lessmann (2-1) who took the fight on very short notice and did well but lost on points after four rounds. Fornling have his next fight November 22 in Malmoe (Sweden).
As reported elsewhere heavywweight Adrian Granat stopped Danny Williams in two and is now scheduled to fight on the Klitschko vs Pulev undercard November 15 in Hamburg.
