Vazquez vs Bedak, Martinez vs Munguia in The Works

A championship doubleheader is being planned by Puerto Rico Best Boxing at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamon, Puerto Rico on May 29. Undefeated Puerto Rican champions Roman "Rocky" Martinez and Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. will defend their titles.

Martinez (23-0-1, 14 KOs) will defend the WBO junior lightweight for the second time against Gonzalo Munguia, who is ranked at number 10 and has a record of 17- 6, 13KOs. Vazquez Jr. (18-0-1, 15 KOs) will defend his WBO super bantamweight title against the unbeaten Zsolt Bedak (15-0, 5KOs). Bedak knocked out Ramie Laput in his last fight to earn the shot at Vazquez.
