Jessie Vargas (26-0, 9 KOs) reacted to statements that were recently made by former two-division champion Timothy Bradley (31-1-1, 12 KOs), who challenged Vargas' new trainer, former four division world champion Erik Morales or Mexico, to a fight. Bradley faces Vargas on Saturday night at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. The fight will be televised on HBO.

In the televised co-feature, Mexican Olympian Oscar Valdez (16-0, 14 KOs) will take on Ruben "Canelito" Tamayo (23-5-4, 15 KOs).

Vargas advised Bradley to forget about Morales and focus on their fight, because afterwards he's going to have a lot to think.

"He needs to worry about me because we're [going to fight] on Saturday night. He just better figure out what to do after he loses. Is he going to retire and take care of his family?," Vargas said.
