Junior middleweight up and comer Vanes Martirosyan reached out to BoxingScene after reading earlier interviews that appeared on BoxingScene with Kermit Cintron and Kelly Pavlik's trainer Jack Loew.
In Loew's interview, the trainer called out Chad Dawson, Alfredo Angulo and Tavoris Cloud. Cintron admitted to not taking a fight with Felix Sturm because the money wasn't right and he didn't have enough time train. Martirosyan told BoxingScene, "I see Kelly (Pavlik) wants to fight someone. I will fight his ass. I read that Cintron turned down a fight with Felix Sturm too. If Sturm is man enough to fight me then I will fight him too."
Martirosyan said that he wants his next fight to be a big fight. "Besides Kelly and Sturm there are a lot of fights I would like to be in. I am waiting to see if the Cotto fight will happen. I would love that fight, [Sergei] Dzinzurik, or Paul Williams. Any big fight I will take. Where are all these top fighters balls? They just worry about money. I will fight any of them!"
