BoxingScene.com has been advised by Top Rank CEO Bob Arum that Pawel Wolak will face Vanes Martirosyan in a junior middleweight clash on December 3, on the undercard of the rematch between Antonio Margarito and Miguel Cotto at Madison Square Garden in New York.
"Both camps have agreed," said Arum. "As soon as (Top Rank's house counsel) gets back in the office, he'll get the contracts out and then it'll be officially done. Terrific fight, really interesting, can't wait to see it."
Wolak (29-1, 19 KOs) is coming off a fight of the year candidate against Delvin Rodriguez in July, a bout deemed a draw. The undefeated Martirosyan (30-0, 19 KOs) stopped Saul Roman in the seventh round of his last bout in June.
