Russian paper Reklama reports former WBA heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev and Olympic gold medal winner Odlanier Solis have told their respective promoters to make the fight. The WBC ordered the two heavyweights to a mandatory fight. The winner meets champion Vitali Klitschko, who defends against Polish champion Albert Sosnowski on May 29 in a voluntary defense.

The WBC only gave their promoters until April 29 to make a deal or else a puse bid will take place. Reklama reports the promoters, Don King and Sauerland Event for Valuev, and Top Rank and Arena Box for Solis, are not held up over money. They are trying to pick a date and location for the fight. The paper says Germany would be the likely location.
