WBA super featherweight Edwin Valero (22-0, 22KOs) was far from impressed with Manny Pacquiao's rematch win over Marco Antonio Barrera.

The unbeaten knockout artist was in attendance at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas to support Barrera. Valero helped Barrera prepare for the Pacquiao bout as a sparring partner. He sat ringside and watched Pacquiao win a twelve round decision to end Barerra's career on a loss.

Afterwards, Valero told the Philippine Star that Pacquiao's power is overrated. He wants to fight Pacquiao in 2008, in either Macau, China or the United States (if he receives medical clearance). The United States has Valero under a medical suspension after a test taken a few years ago showed that Valero may have suffered some damage to his brain from a motorcycle accident that happened around the time Valero turned pro.

“(Pacquiao has) all speed and no power,” Valero said. "I'll fight him and that way we’ll know who the tricycle driver is."

The tricycle driver comment is a reference to a remark that Pacquiao made about him in 2006. During a rally in the Philippines, Pacquiao told reporters that Valero's unbeaten record was made up of tricycle drivers.
