2011 world champion and 2012 Olympic heavyweight gold medalist Olexander Usyk (2-0, 2 KOs) has learned the identity of his next opponent. On April 26, Usyk takes on Germany-based Ghanaian Ben Nsafoah (15-9-2, 8 KOs) over eight rounds in Oberhausen as a part of the Wladimir Klitschko vs. Alex Leapai undercard.
Nsafoah is a virtually unknown fighter, who lost all of his meaningful fights but also held a variety of lightly regarded minor titles. Oppositely, Usyk has never held any title at all but had wins over two opponents (Felipe Romero and Epifanio Mendoza), who are several notches better than those, whom Nsafoah has ever defeated.
