BANGKOK, Kingdom of Thailand  --  Pakistan's Golden Boy Usman Wazeer (8-0, 5 KO's), recognized by many as Pakistan's most popular boxer since Amir Khan with a large exciting fan-base in the Islamic Republic - is more than ready to wage war for the vacant WBO Youth 147lbs world title in the upcoming Highland Boxing Show set for September 28 at the plush SpacePlus Night Club, RCA Plaza in Bangkok, Kingdom of Thailand.

The 22-year-old Wazeer, born in the banks if the legendary Astore River in Northern Pakistan, has arrived in Thailand to battle tough, glory-hungry Thai warrior Somphot Seesa, 23, for the world's WBO Youth strap. A win could get Usman into the WBO's welterweight world rankings.

Already the Asian welterweight champion for the WBA - after his KO win over hard-hitting Phatiphan Krungklang last June in Gilgit  -  Wazeer has pressed on training, aiming at winning another coveted diadem he wants.

Throwing heavy-artillery at him will be fearless, hard-swinging Thai warrior Seesa, a disciplined, strong, dangerous man of combat with a fantastic team backing him, as well as goals and ambitions of his own.

Formerly a Muay Thai combatant, Seesa, born in the "Gold Basin" of Ang Thong in Central Thailand, waits for battle night, focused on cornering the visiting Pakistani fighter into a big, punishing storm of leather.

The main event will be supported by:

- Undefeated world-ranked Filipino WBA # 14 John Michael Zulueta (13-0-2, 6 KO's) of Bacolod wants his third consecutive win in Thailand when he battles local warrior Sittichai Nimnual for the ABF 108lbs Continental Strap.

- Plus, unbeaten Indonesian Adli Hafidz (10-0, 6 KO's) lock horns against popular Shiva Thakran (15-3-1, 7 KO's) of Gurgaon, India, for the WBC 168lbs Asia Continental strap.

- In addition, coming-forward Chinese 108-pounder Yang Jinping rumbles younger, more experienced Thai KO artist Phanuwit Chinpe (12-2, 11 KO's) for Thailand's PAT light flyweight strap; and more action bouts set to thrill.

- Also seen action are Korean super welterweight Tae Kyun Kim (5-1-1), heavy-handed Lightweight Shoaib Kha of Pakistan, Super welterweight Abhuit Barauah of India, as well as unbeaten handsome cruiserweight Marvin Ruf of Spain.

This boxing event in Thailand is another entertaining production of Award-Winning Filipino promoter Brico Santig, head of the Highland Boxing Team, in association with and boxing-minded Tony Chen and Thailand active promoter Supanat Chanram.
