(COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO.) – While the USA Boxing National Championships finalists enjoying a rest day in Colorado Springs, their semifinal round opponents faced off in third place consolation bouts on Friday at the U.S. Olympic Training Center.
Yet the spotlight will return to the championship round contenders on Saturday as they face off in final round action at the Crowne Plaza hotel. The seven women’s non-Olympic weight classes will kick off at 4 p.m., and the night of Olympic weight divisions, featuring the 10 men’s bout and women’s flyweight, lightweight and middleweight classes will begin at 7 p.m.
