USA Boxing has announced the rosters for their international teams for the 2026 year.
Lorenzo Patricio (55kg), Salim Ellis-Bey (60kg), Marcus Luther (65kg), Lavant Brownlee (70kg), Robby Gonzales, (80kg), Joseph Awinongya (90kg) and Kelvin Watts (90+ kg) will comprise the “Elite High Performance Team” on the men’s side.
Noelle Haro (51kg), Yoseline Perez (54kg), Alyssa Mendoza (57kg), Alisha Crockett (60kg), Marie-Angelis Rosendo (65kg), Simona Winkler (70kg) and Naomi Graham (75kg) will represent the national federation on the women’s side.
The teams will also have a “High Performance Squad” of alternates who will compete in case the elite boxers are injured and unable to box for a tournament.
On the men’s side, the alternate squad includes Moises Rodriguez (55kg), Yahir Diaz-Martinez (60kg), Tyric Trapp (80kg), Malachi Georges (90kg), Nnajai Wright (90+ kg) and Gilbert Kabamba (90+ kg).
The women's alternate squad is made up of Jennifer Lozano (51kg), Jayshannet Zapata (54kg), Quermauri Summer Polk (54kg), Deborah Grant (57kg), Norely Ramirez (57kg), Alexis Procyot (65kg), Sage Rosario (70kg) and Kendra Samargis (75kg).
The elite team, which just concluded a multi-nation training camp at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, will now gear up for their first international tournament together: the Strandja tournament in Bulgaria, which runs from February 19 through March 2.
That will be followed by two legs of the World Boxing Cup in Foz do Iguazú, Brazil (April 20-26), and Guiyang City, China (June 15-20), and the Pan American Championships in Puebla, Mexico (October 10-17).
The squad groups will compete at the Gee Bee Boxing Cup in Finland (April 6-12) and Eindhoven Boxing Cup in The Netherlands (May 18-26).
