Two of the three judges confirmed that warm and fuzzy feeling, as Ramos claimed a 10-round, split decision over previously unbeaten Tahmir Smalls.
Scores were 98-92 Ramos, a laughable 96-94 Smalls and 97-93 for Ramos. The win was sweet justice for his landing just one point shy of a WBC welterweight title win in his November 2024 draw with Mario Barrios.
