Icelandic heavyweight Kolbeinn Kristinsson is back in action November 29 in Oulu, Finland on a Steel Ring promotion in a non-title fight against an opponent to be announced.
In his most recent outing the 37-year old Kristinsson, 18-0 (12 KOs), stopped Mike Lehnis in Germany this past May, and is waiting patiently for a major fight. As professional boxing remains prohibited in Iceland, he is forced to fight abroad and has so far fought in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Germany, Hungary and the United States. He has also been used as a sparring partner by top heavyweights including Tyson Fury.
Also on the bill is former WBC super welterweight champ Patricia Berghult, 18-2 (4 KOs), who is now fighting at super lightweight and will face Tiia Rantakyla, 2-0.
The card will also feature Finnish heavyweight Mika Mielonen, 7-3 (6 KOs), who is a former Kristinsson KO victim.
