There will be some fireworks in the ring, and among the Filipino fans who plan to attend the upcoming fight between IBF junior flyweight champion Ulises "Archie" Solis and challenger Brian Viloria. The fight is tentative to take place on March 14 as the co-feature to Fernando Montiel-Nonito Donaire at Araneta Coliseum in Metro Manila, Philippines.

Since last August, Solis has beaten three Filipino contenders - including Rodel Mayol, Bert Batawang and Glenn Donaire. Viloria, a former WBC junior flyweight champ, will have the full support of the crowd as he tries to avenge his fallen countrymen.

Solis is going to be ready for war. He views Viloria as the only fighter willing to step up to the plate. Solis feels that he might need to leave his division in order to land a big fight. He wants the big names at his weight, but says the other champions are not interested in facing him.

"It's a difficult fight because he's an opponent who trains hard and Viloria can hit. Ivan Calderon does not want to fight with me. Neither does Edgar Sosa and Cesar Canchila, he is only a temporary champion," Solis told ESTO.

"To grow in boxing, I will have to move up a division. Maybe a fight with Omar Narvaez, that would be a good fight, but nobody knows him on a worldwide basis. Against Nonito Donaire would be a good fight and against Daisuke Naito, another interesting fight."
