The leading promoter Latin America, Zanfer, wished a happy birthday to one of the most prominent champions of his division and of Mexican boxing, flyweight Ulises "Archie" Solis, who on Saturday, August 28, turned 29 years old in a successful and exemplary life.

Solis (31-2, 21 Ko's) celebrated his birthday training in Guadalajara for his upcoming fight on Sept. 15 in Tepic, Nayarit, where he faces former WBA flyweight king Cesar Canchila of Cololmbia, with which the Mexican boxing fans wil celebrate the 200th anniversary of the start of their Independence. Happy birthday Mexico's champion Ulises "Archie" Solis.

Solis was born August 28, 1981 in Guadalajara and is one of the 10 brothers who were procreated his parents Maria and Don Aurelio Cruz Solis.

"I'm very happy because God allowed me to have another year of life. I thank my parents for bringing me into this wonderful world and didn't get in the way of my boxing. We won't celebrate, until the night of September 15. For now we are training, but thanks to all of those who have sent me congratulations," said the former world champion from his gym in the colony Tlalpita of Guadalajara, Jalisco.
