Boris Grinberg, the manager of WBO heavyweight champion Sultan Ibragimov (22-0-1, 17KOs), informed BoxingScene.com that former undisputed champion Mike Tyson will work his fighter's corner on Feb. 23, when he challenges IBF heavyweight champ Wladimir Klitschko (49-3, 44KOs) in a unification bout at New York's Madison Square Garden. HBO will televise.
Tyson is close friends with Ibragimov, and was slated to work Ibragimov's corner for his bouts with Shannon Briggs and Evander Holyfield. Due to Tyson's legal battles at the time of the bouts, he was unable to attend the events. This time around, he appears to be clear and said to be excited for Ibragimov's big opportunity.
