Peter Fury, the trainer and uncle of heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury, has confirmed that tickets for his nephew's July 9 rematch against Wladimir Klitschko will go on sale on April 27.

Tickets will be released on the same day as the first presser for the fight, which will take place at the Manchester Arena, the venue for the rematch.  They will also go on sale on Eventim.

Fury has home advantage; he headed over to Germany in November to post an upset decision win over the long-reigning former titlist and posted another surprise by securing Manchester for the rematch.

The first meeting ended Klitschko's decade of dominance.  Indeed, the IBF'S decision to strip Fury for turning down his mandatory obligation set a chain of events into motion that led to British rival Anthony Joshua picking up the belt courtesy of a two-round win over former holder Charles Martin earlier this month.

Joshua and Fury feel that they are on a collision course, but Fury has a big, contractually obligated fight against Klitschko on his plate before he can think of tackling the likes of Joshua and WBC holder Deontay Wilder.

However, the spread of titles has shaken up a decision that was moribund for far too long.  Fury-Klitschko II could be the latest in a series of interesting bouts in boxing's flagpole division.
