Tyson Fury has been quiet since his rematch win over ‘Big’ John McDermott on June 25th, he recently revealed that he is putting the trash talk to one side in a bid to be taken seriously. Fury, 22, told Paul Foley of Boxrec News that his constant chat was a ploy, a means of getting himself noticed by the fans; with the job now well and truly done, Tyson has vowed to let his fists do the talking.
“In the past I have spoken out loudly, you have to do it in the beginning to get hyped up, to get a bit of a name, but I am already a face in world boxing,” declared the 11-0 (9) fighter, who gritted his teeth to stop an exhausted McDermott in the ninth stanza.
