The social networks have created some strange online wars between boxers. The latest in the last few days has been between undefeated British heavyweight prospect Tyson Fury and super middleweight Andre Dirrell.
Fury, through his twitter page, posted a message - "talk of the gym is whether Andre Dirrell is a bigger bitch than Kermit Cintron or Audley Harrison."
Dirrell fired back at Fury, taking some pokes at Fury's infamous ring moment where he punched himself in the face, and he also questioned Fury's ability to make it.
"Who do you think you're gonna beat to become a future champ. Every heavyweight I know would wax you. You are a local fighter, nothin more [and] nothing less, but keep it up buddy, you just might make the regionals one day," Dirrell said.
Fury fired back in kind, claiming Dirrell faked injury during the March fight with Arthur Abraham.
"The only thing that needs waxing is that bumfluff on your face sonny. I think you could achieve a lot more if you didn't put so much into being a ballerina and an actor. Whine whine whine...in the ring, out the ring - same old tune," Fury said.
And then Dirrell continued.
"Wow! What a comeback. Stick to boxing, well I can't say that, you suck. From now on I'll call u average Joe. It fits you big guy. Do yourself a favor and put a cheeseburger on your glove, that way the next time you hit yourself it's for a reason," Dirrell said.
