British/EBU/WBO international heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (23-0, 17KOs) believes manager Al Haymon will prevent a possible fight with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (33-0, 32KOs). Fury returns on February 28th against Christian Hammer at the O2 Arena (Millenium Dome) in Greenwich, London.
Fury complained on the social networks that Haymon, who advises Wilder, will protect the fighter from any possible danger prior to a unification with division Wladimir Klitschko.
"Me and [Deontay Wilder] will not fight because of Al Haymon! The man is a very clever guy and knows how to protect his charge," Fury wrote to his followers. "Just for the record I'm waiting for a contract. Bronze Bomber I'll come to you, we can fight in Alabama if you want! I want this fight, do you? You are all talk Bronze Bomber! You have no say who you fight, do u really think your management would let you fight me? Never ever!"
Wilder hit back - telling Fury that he would love to get the opportunity to "prove him wrong" in the ring.
