WBA regular super middleweight champ Tyron Zeuge, who retained the title this past weekend with a clear points win over Paul Smith, will not take part in the World Boxing Super Series tournament, writes BILD.

There will thus be no unification fight against stablemate and WBA super champ George Groves, who is confirmed his intention to take part in the WBSS tournament.

EU super middleweight champion Serhyi Demchenko (18-11-1) will defend the title against mandatory challenger Orial Kulaj (17-5) in Rome where both are based at a date to be announced with Round Zero promoting.

There were purse bids scheduled for today (June 17) at noon but the parties reached an agreement around 15 minutes before deadline. It´s a good matchup between two tough warriors who often have ventured into the other guy´s backyard with mixed results but always performing well.
