In an up and down ten days for Philippine boxing, two fighters won in Sydney, Australia while another lost over the weekend.

Ruben Santillanosa scored a third round knockout over former kickboxer Arang Kartu who was making his debut in a four round bound at he Bonnyrigg Sports Club. The end came at 1:46 of the third round.

Reinhard  Badato won a four round split decision over Kane Buckley who was also making his debut with two judges scoring it for the Filipino 39-37 and 40-36 while the third judge had Buckley the winner 39-37.

The third Filipino Ronie Oyan  suffered a third consecutive loss by a four round shutout to undefeated Davey Brown in a featherweight bout.
