Two more Filipino boxers have been knocked out in Bangkok. Super bantamweight Jack Asis was knocked out in the fourth round of a title bout against WBC Asian Boxing Council champion Saenghiran Lookbanyai while Jack Maldecir suffered a second round KO at the hands of Sairung Suwanasil on Monday.
Lookbanyai who is undefeated with a record of 13-0 including 10 KO’s has been feasting on Filipino boxers of questionable skill with 11 of his victims being Filipinos. Lookbanyai scored a fourth round TKO over Rodel Orais last March 28 and followed this up with a third round KO of Jun Magsipoc last June 7.
Suwanasil, the 30 year old Thai who was beaten last year by current OPBF No.1 super flyweight Z “The Dream” Gorres, made short work of Maldecir to improve his record to 36-8 with 23 knockouts.Suwanasil was coming off a ten round unanimous decision over talented Roy Doliguez last June 7.
