BoxingScene.com has been advised that a middleweight clash between Fernando Guerrero (27-3, 19KOs) and Caleb Truax (25-2-2, 15KOs) is likely to get finalized as the televised co-feature to the welterweight showdown between Devon Alexander and Aaron Martinez.

Guerrero returned from a near one year layoff in April, when he won a ten round split decision over Abie Han on the Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs. Andrzej Fonfara undercard at StubHub in Carson.

Truax fought a week later, in Chicago, when he challenged Daniel Jacobs for the WBA 'regular' middleweight championship. Truax saw a seven fight win streak come to a close when Jacobs stopped him in the twelfth and final round.
