If Oscar De La Hoya plans to rematch Felix Trinidad next May, it won't be cheap. According to a recent interview in Endi , father/trainer Felix Trinidad Sr., said that only two things need to be agreed upon in order to get his son, Felix "Tito" Trinidad, to come back to the ring. The fight must be at 160 pounds, not a pound less, and Trinidad wants $30 million dollars for the fight.
If they hear those numbers agreed upon, Trinidad's response will be “Yes, I accept the fight”.
“It surprises me and it suprises Tito that he continues to talk about him. Tito told me, 'it is good that he continues to promote a fight with me,' Trinidad Sr. said.
"I know the reasons why Tito won't agree to a fight and why he will, but it's a fight I have always liked. I don't believe De La Hoya will beat Tito. He couldnt beat him at 147 pounds where Tito sacrificed a lot by making the weight, and I can't imagine him beating Tito at 160 pounds."
