Heavyweight Travis Kauffman will face Amir Mansour on March 17, promoter Marshall Kauffman told BoxingScene.com in a recent interview.
The 10 round bout will take place at the Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania.
Kauffman (31-1 1 NC, 23 KOs), who is from Reading, was victorious in his last bout on September 9, stopping Josh Gormley in the second round.
In his previous bout, Kauffman lost a 12 round split decision to Chris Arreola. The result was later changed to a No Decision, when Arreola failed a post-fight drug test.
Kauffman is unbeaten in his last 14 bouts.
Mansour (22-2-1, 16 KOs) has not fought since January 23 of last year. In that fight, the 44-year-old Mansour dropped heavyweight contender Dominic Breazeale in round three before remaining on his stool after the fifth round.
Prior to the Breazeale bout, Mansour fought to a split decision draw against contender Gerald Washington.
Promoter Marshall Kauffman told BoxingScene.com the scheduled 10 round bout between lightweights Edner Cherry and Antoine Douglas will not take place on the King’s Promotions card.
Welterweight Kermit Cintron (39-5-2, 30 KOs), who resides in the Reading area, will also fight on the card. He has won his last six bouts. Steve Cunningham (28-8-1, 12 KOs), who is winless in his last three bouts, is scheduled to fight on card.
