According to members of the Police department in Tepic Nayarit, former IBF super flyweight champion Juan Alberto "Topo" Rosas (37-7, 27KOs) was arrested for an alleged attack. Further details have not been disclosed, but Rosas has a long history of aggression against others.
The super flyweight contender won a ten round split decision over Jose Carlos Vargas on July 28th in Tepic.
Last April in Guadalajara, Rosas and a few others gave young prospect Jesus "El Negrito" Silvestre a beating in a parking lot and sent the boxer to the hospital.
