Tony Lopez Inks Promotional With Roy Jones Jr. Boxing

Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotion led by CEO Keith Veltre and 10x world champion Roy Jones Jr. is continuing to develop their growing roster of young, up and coming talent. This week RJJ signed bantamweight Tony Lopez, from Ft. Worth Texas to an exclusive promotional agreement.
Tony Lopez was a 2x National Champion and compiled an impressive amateur record of 673. As a professional Tony is 11-1- 5KO and was the former WBC Youth Champion at 118lbs.
Lopez thrilled the crowd with a spectacular onepunch “KnockOut of the Year” candidate performance over previously undefeated Jerren Cochran 110 from Houston, Texas on May 21 in Las Vegas Nevada on the “KnockOut Night at the D” series on CBS Sports Network.
“I have known Tony for a couple years now” said Guy Taylor, matchmaker for Roy Jones Jr. Boxing “Tony is a tremendous talent! I told the CEO (Keith Veltre) during the show to watch this fight closely. Tony came out like a man possessed and scored two knockdowns in round one and then landed a picture perfect righthook in round two that sent Cochran face first and out cold. Tony Lopez is scheduled to return in September to Las Vegas and be apart of the “KnockOut Night at the D” series on CBS Sports Network.
