Unbeaten WBC Youth bantamweight champion, Tomoki “Mexicanito” Kameda (19-0, 12KOs), arrived in the Mexican capital to start his preparation towards the first defense of his WBC recognized belt, scheduled for July 8 at the Kyuden Memorial Gymnasium in Fukuoka, Japan. The youngest of the Kameda brothers is promoted in Mexico by Canelo Promotions. Kameda plans to run until Friday because he is recovering from a throat infection.

Kameda arrived with his manager Satoshi Shima, who is very happy because for the first time in his successful boxing career, he is going to appear in a featured fight on the same card with his brother Daiki Kameda. When it comes to training in Mexico, coach Ruben Lira takes charge of all the physical preparations, technique and tactics.

The young boxer's opponent has not been finalized but he wanted to make a quick return to the gym. He was in the ring on May 7, beating Filipino Nathan Bolcio in Osaka.
