According to multiple sources in Poland, former two division world champion Tomasz Adamek (49-3, 29KOs), 37-years-old, will potentially return on October 18th in Lodz, Poland. Adamek was last in the ring this past March, where he lost a twelve round decision to undefeated heavyweight contender Czar Glazov of Ukraine. Prior to that, Adamek had a five fight win streak. He still hopes to land a major title shot in the near future.
No opponent has been set, but Ray Austin's name has been kicked around in boxing circles.
"For me it doesn't matter [who I fight]. I just want to give the people a good show, something that will be remembered and remembered for a long time," Adamek stated when discussing his fall return.
