The highly-anticipated “New Kids on the Dock” event that hits Liverpool Olympia on June 7th has received a significant boost today as local favourite and 2012 Olympian, Tom Stalker, was added to the bill. After racing to 2-0 since handing back his treasured national vest earlier this year, Stalker has vowed to stay busy for the apprenticeship stage of his career and that has certainly been the case thus far. Promoter Dave Coldwell is delighted to be working with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Sport once again and is looking forward to seeing Stalker perform alongside his fellow Scouse prospects.

“June 7th was already shaping up to be an important night for the next generation of Merseyside boxing and that has been further strengthened by the addition of Tom Stalker to the show,” spoke Coldwell. “Tom has made a solid start to his professional career so far and he’s one of many fighters that Liverpool can be extremely proud of. There’s been a big buzz about him because of his amateur achievements and the noise that he brings to an event is unbelievable. It’ll be a pleasure to have Tom boxing on one of my shows on June 7th.”
