Featherweight Toka Kahn Clary stopped veteran Francisco Medel in the opening round Saturday night at the Plainridge Park Casino in Plainville, Massachusetts.

With the win, Clary improves to 21-1, with 15 KOs. Medel, from Uruapan, Michoacan, Mexico, falls to 10-9, with 6 KOs.

Clary, who is originally from Liberia and resides in nearby Providence, R.I., stopped Medel at 2:31 of the first round.

Clary has won his last two bouts since being knocked out in the opening round by gatekeeper Jhon Gemino on September 23.

Medel has lost his last four bouts and nine of his last 10.

Middleweight Gary 'Spike' O’Sullivan knocked out Chauncey Fields (4-3, with 2 KOs) at 2:26 of the second round.

O’Sullivan (25-2, with 17 KOs), who is originally from Cork, Ireland and now resides in the Boston area, has won his last three bouts since his December 2015 defeat to Chris Eubank, Jr.

Light heavyweight Charles Foster (13-0, with 7 KOs) remained unbeaten with a six round unanimous decision over Nathan Miller (9-2-2, with 7 KOs). Scores were 59-54, 59-54, and 59-58 for Foster.
