WBO Welterweight champion Timothy Bradley will put his title and undefeated record on the line as he faces Juan Manuel Marquez on October 12th at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, NV. Bradley is extremely confident and has promised a victory over the Mexican warrior who is 10 years his senior.

Despite Bradley feeling he will be victorious, he still has plenty of respect for Marquez who is considered one of best fighters in the sport. In fact, Bradley believes Marquez is the best fighter he’s faced in his entire career.

“He's probably the best fighter to date that I've faced because of his resume and what he's done in boxing. He's fought nothing but the best. He's seen the best in the world. He's been in the ring with Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao; the two best fighters in the world. There's nothing this guy hasn't seen. He's fought against all the best like [Marco Antonio] Barrera” said Bradley.

Marquez is regarded as one of the most fundamentally sound fighters and for having one of the best ring IQ’s. Bradley acknowledges what makes Marquez so great and even compares him to Floyd Mayweather who is considered the best in the game.

“He's very crafty. He's one of the best technicians in the game. I know that [Floyd] Mayweather is the best technician but Marquez, I rate him up there with Mayweather; right there with Mayweather as the best counter puncher and most accurate fighter in the game” said Bradley.

Even with the praise he’s shown his opponent, Bradley says he will wage war if need be and Marquez will have to knock him out in order to get a victory.
