WBO Youth World Champion Tim-Robin Lihaug (11-1, 6 KOs) can continue his climb to the top of the super middleweight division on May 2 when he faces Giuseppe Brischetto (13-3, 7 KOs) at the Frederiksberg-Hallerne in Copenhagen.

The Danish capital has proved a happy hunting ground for the Norwegian talent in the past with victories over Steve Kroekel, Marko Benzon, Simen Smaadal, George Beroshvili and last month’s second-round destruction of Slavisa Simeunovic all coming in Copenhagen. ‘’I love fighting in Copenhagen’’ said Lihaug. ‘’It’s like my boxing hometown. I’ve had five good wins there and I want this to continue on May 2.’’

To fulfill this wish and extend his unbeaten run, the 22 year-old must overcome the experienced Italian Brischetto. ‘’He is a good fighter,’’ said Lihaug. ‘’ He may have lost three times but these have all come in title fights against top-quality opponents. He has an aggressive style and will come forward and throw a lot of punches, so I must be careful and not let him fight his fight.’’
