Norwegian super middleweight star Tim-Robin Lihaug (10-1, 5 KOs) is back in action on March 14 at the Ballerup Super Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Lihaug returns following a unanimous points victory over Farouk Daku last weekend at the Nordic Fight Night, in which the 22 year-old impressed with a mature performance to defeat the Ugandan southpaw in a tactical eight-round encounter.

‘’I was pleased with my performance,’’ said the Bergen-boxer. ‘’Daku was a solid opponent and the first southpaw I have faced. Of course, I like to give my fans a spectacular finish, but at this stage of my career it’s all about gaining experience and I felt learnt a lot from this fight.

‘’That was my tenth victory, and I’m very proud with what I have achieved in my career so far. On March 14, I can’t wait to get back into the ring and continue my development.’’

Lihaug will have the opportunity to celebrate his milestone tenth professional victory tonight when he hosts a special party at the Footballpuben in Bergen, before returning to Spain to resume his training next week.

‘’I’m looking forward to celebrating with my fans in Bergen tonight,’’ said the current WBO Youth World Champion. ‘’Their support means a lot to me and it’s great to be able to give something back.’’

Said promoter Nisse Sauerland: ‘’Tim continues to impress. If he keeps developing at this pace it won’t be long before he is ready to step up in class again. He has the power and ability to cause problems for any opponent. We’re lining up a great show on March 14 that will give Tim another opportunity to showcase his talents.’’

Patrick Nielsen (23-1, 11 KOs) headlines an action-packed Nordic Fight Night show at the Ballerup Super Arena on March 14. The Danish boxing star has moved up in weight and will be competing in his first super middleweight contest. Tickets are available via billetlugen.dk.
