The June 9th Manny Pacquiao-Timothy Bradley fight is inching closer and there appears to be no lack of urgency coming from either man.
A visit to Indio, California in late April offered up an intimate look at Bradley’s preparation and the 28-year old junior welterweight champion already was looking in pristine condition.
A few weeks later and the beat goes on from Bradley, who revealed that he has likely put in over one-hundred rounds of sparring thus far in camp against a revolving cast of characters.
“Everything is going good, man,” Bradley stated on Wednesday afternoon. “I was talking to Joel [Diaz]; I think we did over 115 rounds of sparring. Yeah man, we’re putting in work. We feel really good. A little fatigued today but it’s just all from hard work. We tapered down a little bit today.”
For Bradley, having belief in his abilities is the least of his concerns. By this point it’s just a matter of keeping his eye on the prize until his date with destiny arrives.
“I had some good, tough sparring today and all in all man, I’m physically ready and I’m mentally ready. It’s just a few weeks away and we’ve just got to stay disciplined and stay focused and just go over the game plan in my head,” Bradley stated.
Expect much more from this exclusive interview with Bradley in the coming hours…
