After a long and successful run together, Tim Bradley and long-time trainer Joel Diaz are no more.

Monica Bradley, the wife and manager of 'the Desert Storm' confirmed the news to BoxingScene.com and stated - ''Tim just basically wants a change."

As for the rumors of Bradley working with Teddy Atlas, the fighter himself said:

"No, no, no, we've been looking at Teddy Atlas, different guys we'e been looking at but there's no truth to that."

The Bradley-Diaz union has been an incredibly productive one where they have won five major world titles and millions of dollars put into the bank. Why this change?

"There are deeper things that go into the decision that I'm not going to talk about," said Bradley, who has a mark of 32-1-1(12 KO's).

"But I'll just leave it at this - I just want to have a trainer that's for me and someone that's going to pay attention to me. Someone that's going to direct me, someone that's going to actually put me as a priority, not leaving training camp for various reasons."

Word is that a fight with Brandon Rios is being revived for November 7th.

"I don't know," answered Bradley. "All I can tell you is that I'm not sure when I'm coming back. We were in negotiations, I don't know how that's going yet, but I haven't got a call from Todd (duBoef, Top Rank president) or anybody. To be honest, I really don't know right now what's going to go on, if I'm going to fight this guy or not or if I fight somebody else."

"But right now my priority is to look for a new trainer and that's it...looking for a new trainer, something new, something fresh. Something where I'll get better, man."
