New York, NY - ThrowdownFantasy.com, the only draft-style fantasy boxing game powered by CompuBox, will launch its proprietary second screen experience, Live Fight Central tonight for Golden Boy Live on FS1. The Live Fight Central service will allow boxing fans the ability to score the fights live and share them on social media. The scores will also be featured during the live telecast, starting at 10pm EST on Fox Sports 1.
"This will give boxing fans the ability to watch the fights and score them live using our second screen experience," said Throwdown Fantasy's co-founder Nic Canobbio. "It's a great feature that is exclusive to ThrowdownFantasy.com members."
Once each round ends, boxing fans will have the ability to score that round using the standard 10 point scoring system. The most common score will display as the Fan's Average Score. The Fan's Average Score will then be displayed on the live telecast of Golden Boy Live on FS1. Fans can also share their scores on social media and earn Throwdown Fantasy points when they do so.
ThrowdownFantasy.com is similar to other daily fantasy sites, players draft a team of fighters, staying within a salary cap, and get points for how the athletes perform in their fights. Games usually last 1 week and players get points if their fighter wins and by their fighter's stats, provided by CompuBox.
