Its still the same sad refrain. Three more Filipino boxers have gone to Thailand only to be beaten.

Veteran Jun Arlos dropped a unanimous twelve round decision in a WBC Asian Boxing Council light flyweight title fight to Petchtapee Pinsinchai, a novice who struggled to make the weight in what was described as an ” unanimous but unimpressive” win.

31 year old featherweight Edwin Gastador who was dropped twice in sparring by WBO Asia Pacific bantamweight champion Rey ”Boom Boom” Bautista during Bautista’s preparation for his battle with Mexican Glberto Bolanos last June, lost a six round unanimous decision to 33 year old Thai boxer Lakhin Vasaosit who has a record of 25-0-2 with 17 knockouts.

The third fighter Dondon Jimenea lost by a TKO in the ninth round to Maxsaisai Pinsinchai with the Filipino refusing to continue at the start of the ninth round.
