Hard-hitting welterweight Thomas Dulorme (10-0 and 9 knockouts) will look to impress on Saturday, when he faces Dominican boxer Harrison Cuello on the Andre Berto-Victor Ortiz undercard at the Foxwoods Resort and Casino in Connecticut. Dulorme is considered to be one of the top prospects in the world. Last year Cuello upset former champion Stevie Forbes.
"This fighter beat Stevie Forbes last year. It is a difficult step for Thomas but I think we're at that level and we will know if he can go up another step," said his trainer Jose Bonilla.
For his part, Dulorme said he studied Cuello very well and his promoters Lou DiBella, Gary Shaw and Javier Bustillo have faith in his ability to become a future world champion.
"I'm going to make my career at 147 pounds. I don't have to diet and I'm comfortable. This is what makes great fighters. If you want to be good, you have to fight the best," he said.
