WBA super lightweight champion Adrien Broner (31-2) has been very vocal even for his standards.  The talkative Cincinnati, OH resident recently said that he could beat all of Floyd Mayweather's "TMT" stable and called out Mayweather's fighter Ashley Theophane (39-6-1).

Theophane said that he doesn't pay attention to Broner's words and pointed to the the comments that Broner directed to the two fighters that have given him losses.

"He can believe that if he wants.  He believed he was going to beat Shawn (Porter) and Marcos (Maidana).  He has to believe in himself but I believe he can't beat me. I believe I am going to win and I look forward to it. That is what he does. He disrespects his opponents. I don't really care. His words don't mean anything. On fight night he will see what he is up against," Theophane explained.

The London native has been a professional since 2003 and is finally getting his first opportunity to win a world title. An opportunity that Theophane said he won't squander.

"It would mean everything (to win a world title) because every fighter wants to be a world champ and to beat the biggest name in my weight division is even better. I am just putting in the work in the gym and am ready for fight night," said a confident Theophane.

In one of Broner's most recent outbursts he went as far as to say that Theophane wouldn't last four rounds in their fight. Theophane found his comments amusing and said that it will be Broner who doesn't make it to the final bell.

"On April 1st the fans are going to see the best performance that I have ever had in a boxing ring and I am going to be victorious. I am going to break him down and run him out of the ring.  That is how I am going to win. I want to see this four round KO that he talked about!" Theophane told BoxingScene.com.
