Terence Crawford Will Return on Rios-Alvarado Card

Hot lightweight prospect Terence Crawford will return March 30 in a vacant NABO title match, according to Top Rank matchmaker Brad Goodman.

The bout will be on the off-TV undercard of Brandon Rios-Mike Alvarado 2 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nev. Two opponents being discussed at this stage are Dorin Spivey and Lonnie Smith.

Spivey (42-6, 30 KOs) and Smith (14-4-2, 10 KOs) would both serve as significant step-up challenges for the 25-year-old from Nebraska. Crawford (19-0, 15 KOs) has been eight rounds just once and this bout would be his first 10-rounder.
