Like most fighters, Teofimo Lopez is trying to do the best that he can to stay in shape during the covid-19 pandemic.

The IBF lightweight champion recently held a Q&A session on Reddit.com with fans to discuss today's current events and the sport of boxing.

Lopez was expecting to fight WBA/WBO/WBC Franchise champion Vasiliy Lomachenko on May 30th at Madison Square Garden in New York but those plans were put on hold when the pandemic hit the United States and like most sports, a makeup date hasn't yet been determined.

When asked by a fan what he is doing during this down time, Lopez, who recently relocated to Arkansas to escape the rising coronavirus case count in New York, admitted that it hasn't been easy staying in shape and maintaining his weight.

"Trying to make the most of it, all of us are. I gained weight because of all this sh-t. Trying to work on it, bringing the weight back down. Pretty much calisthenics, keeping your heart pumping. Epsom salt baths, take the toxic stuff away, release the muscles. Drink a lot of fluids, a lot of water. We have a bag in the garage so I use that, working on techniques, talking to my father, doing sit ups, pushups," Lopez wrote. "Today, I'm gonna go to my brother in law's friend's house to use a treadmill since I can't run outdoors."

He was also asked by another fan to give his top 5 pound-for-pound list in the sport.  Even though he has had harsh words for his nemesis Lomachenko in the past, Lopez gave him his respect by including him in his list.

"(Terence) Crawford, Canelo (Alvarez), (Naoya) Inoue, Tyson Fury, obviously you've got Loma. That's my top 5 right there," Lopez revealed.
