BoxingScene.com was recently on hand at one of Teofimo Lopez's (12-0) training sessions for his April 20th showdown against Edis Tetli (31-2). The lightweight bout will be part of a four fight pay-per-view card that will be distributed by ESPN.

Terence Crawford defends his WBO welterweight title against versus Amir Khan in the main event while Felix Verdejo-Bryan Vasquez and Shakur Stevenson-Christopher Diaz round out the broadcast that takes place at the Madison Square Garden in New York.

The 21-year-old Lopez is very confident that he will defeat Tetli and fight for a title by the end of the year.  He has frequently called out WBA/WBO lightweight champion and top pound-for-pound fighter Vasiliy Lomachenko and hopes to face him before the end of the year.

When asked about the main event, Lopez believes that Crawford, who is a big betting favorite, will win the fight. If Khan is able to stay disciplined he believes that the fight will be more competitive than many people believe.

"I got Terence Crawford. I think everybody believes that he will stop Amir Khan but Amir Khan is no push over or anything. Khan is quick and still has his speed and everything. The only thing bad about Amir Khan is when he gets that speed going, he is tagging you and everything, he get his head leaning forward and puts his chin out while he is throwing and that is how you get clipped," Lopez told BoxingScene.com.

"He gets so excited and he puts his chin out before he throws and they clip him. If Khan can stay composed and not get too excited at what he is doing then it could be a great fight. If Crawford stays composed and lets him do all that and just blocks him then he will  time him and catch him and win by knockout."
