Manager Luis DeCubas Jr. has advised BoxingScene.com that Erislandy Lara (15-1-1, 10KOs) is ready, willing and able to face WBO junior middleweight champion Sergiy Dzinziruk (37-1, 23KOs) in the fall - if HBO comes through with a promised television date for Dzinziruk. If HBO fails to deleive, Dzinziruk will likely have to travel overseas to make a mandatory defense against Lukas Konecny.

"If HBO decides to give Dzinziruk a date on the network he should fight Erislandy Lara this fall. Look Dzinziruk is undefeated at 154-pounds but based on the way he performed against Martinez he probably doesn't deserve a date unless its with a world-class guy like Lara. I believe its an intriguing match-up after the way Lara beat Williams there's no telling what Erislandy is capable of," Decubas Jr. said to BoxingScene.com.

"Obviously we would love a rematch but since Paul Williams or his team have not come on record since July 9, I would be amazed if he's willing to do it again. I think he's waiting around until Lara's next fight is announced and then he'll return. Erislandy is ready and willing to fight anybody at 154-pounds."
